Chouf App is a convenience app for the Chouf area, Mount Lebanon. It has two surfaces: a shopping marketplace and a directory of trusted local service providers. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.
Chouf App does not require an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit personal information about you to our servers. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not sell or share personal data.
To make the app usable, the following is saved locally in your device's browser storage and never leaves your device:
You can clear this at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
The directory lists individual service providers in the Chouf area together with their contact details — a mobile number and/or email address. These entries are curated, and they are added or removed on demand as providers join, change details, or ask to be delisted.
A provider's contact details are shown only inside the app, and only after you tap to view or contact them. When you choose to call, message, or email a provider, that action is handled by your own phone, messaging, or email app — Chouf App is not a party to that communication and does not record it.
If you are a listed provider and want your details corrected or removed, contact us using the details below and we will action the request.
The app may use your device's network connection to load content and may open your phone, messaging, or email apps when you tap a provider's contact action. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
Chouf App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
