Klailieh is a Chouf-area locality in Mount Lebanon.
Kleilieh is Syriac with several meanings that share a single base, 'the knot/crown'; among them the diadem, the wedding, the circle of buildings. The author believes it means 'crown' (ikleel), referring to its geographic shape. Remains of ancient buildings were found in the Kafarghous area.
Kleilieh’s land is wide, running between Kfarmatta to the north, Beidar el-Raml and the edge of Deir el-Qamar to the east, the meeting of the two rivers to the south and Mechref to the west. Its people were displaced and, unlike neighbouring villages, did not return even after the reconciliation held at Kfarmatta; the houses standing before the displacement are all in ruins, and local Chouf communities have made offers to buy the village.
